On Saturday, January 16, United Way Capital Area and Hands on Central Texas invite you to celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a day of service.
Last year more than 700 volunteers came together to dig into community improvement projects throughout Austin. We hope you’ll join us in 2010 to participate in service in honor of Dr. King.

With performances by The Cipher – Austin’s Hip-Hop Project & the MLK Oratory Competition recipient.
Breakfast & Volunteer Check-In: 8:30am – 9:00am
“Reflecting on the Dream” 9:00am – 10:00am
Service Projects: 10:30am – 3:00pm

The MLK Holiday is not only for celebration and remembrance, education and tribute, but above all, a day of service.
